M3nsa has expressed shock over a 15-year sentence given to a phone thief.
The musician took to Twitter to react to a news article about a young man jailed for 15 years for stealing a phone.
According to the story, a motor rider, Emmanuel Waki, 21, has been sentenced to serve 15 years jail term after pleading guilty to robbing a bystander of his mobile phone in front of the Police CID Headquarters in Accra.
M3nsa disagrees with the sentence and thinks people are going into crime because of poverty, hunger and desperation.

Reports say that the robbery happened on the 19th of December in Accra. However, the crime was witnessed by the Inspector General of Police and his bodyguards who were then returning from routine observational duties.
The police were said to have given the robber a chase, leading to the arrest of an okada rider identified as Salifu, who in turn led the police to Old Fadama to arrest the culprit Waki.
