Ghanaian hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese, also known as Abodam, has claimed that he made award-winning rapper Ayigbe Edem’s ‘ You Dey Craze ‘ song popular.
‘You day craze’ which was produced by hammer of the last 2 in 2008 features Sarkodie,Kwaw Kese and others.
There is an ongoing feud between the ‘World we day’ rapper and popular rapper Yaa Pono.
The feud between the two rappers started when Kwaw Kese lashed out at Yaa Pono for putting out diss song Yard’ directed at Sarkodie.
Yaa Pono made fun of Sarkodie in the diss song by pointing out that he had been featured on the record of a deceased guy.
Responding to the diss song of Yaa Pono to Sarkodie on Twitter, Kwaw Kese advised Yaa Pono to focus on bettering himself rather than spending his energy and resources on another person.
He tweeted; “If you diss someone who’s ahead of you in everything, you’re wasting your time. Use that energy to better yourself”
In a video sighted by Ghanaweekend.com, Kwaw Kese who was reminding Yaa Pono of his achievements in the Ghanaian music industry said his verse in ‘U day Craze’ made the song popular.
“That time we dropped ‘u dey craze,” that song it was me..if I’m lying, go and check Sarkodie’s recent show, when we performed the song. You people are saying I haven’t done anything, I don’t know how to rap, but I am calm.” He said
I know Ghanaians….that’s how you are. People even say Kwame Nkrumah did not claim independence so I understand Ghanaians but I’m telling you guys that my verse that song made the song hit.”He added
