Sarkodie, Joseph Matthew, Other Celebrities react to Christian Astu’s death

Ghanaian celebrated footballer Christian Atsu has been confirmed dead.

Atsu died from the deadly earthquake that struck Southern and Central Turkey as well as Western Syria on February 6,2023.
He was trapped under the rubble for more than a week before he was found dead on Saturday morning. The news of his death was announced by his agent Nana Sechere.

Ever since his death was announced, many celebrities have taken to their social media handles to pour out their condolences and shock.

One of the first to expressed his disenchantment happens to be award-winning afro-gospel musician Joseph Matthew. The ‘Blessed’ hit maker wrote, “RIP Atsu So Sad. It’s definitely not what I wanted to hear this morning .But His will be done on earth.”

The most successful African rapper, Sarkodie also posted on Facebook,” RIP 👑 🕊️🙏🏿“

NKZ record boss and popular rapper Guru in a tweet used an exclamation, “Hmmm”.
