Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Moses OK has shared how a allegedly pastor paid him just Gh15 after travelling from Kumasi to perform in Tema.
Speaking on Adom FM, the Kumasi-based gospel musician said the gospel music industry wasn’t that lucrative in his prime.
“Those times someone can invite you to a programme and give you 50 Cedis for transport. I remember doing a show in Tema…the person invited me from Kumasi. I came with an STC bus. At that time, the transport wasn’t too expensive.
“After the programme the man gave me 15 cedis. I got sick in the car because of the way I was ministering… Some people threw money at me, but they took all of it, we had issues like that, lots of them,” he sadly added
Moses OK is noted for monster hit songs such as ‘Osoro Taawakye and “Nkakra Nkakra”.
