Launch of Abibigromma 40th AnniversaryThe launch of Abibigromma’s 40th anniversary celebration was held at the ETS Drama Studio,University of Ghana.

Abibigromma is the resident theatre company of the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana was established in May, 1983 after a three-member committee consisting of Dr Mohammed Ben Abdallah,

Mr. Asare Newman and Professor William Ofotsu Adinku had been charged earlier to come up with a proposal for the establishment of such a theatre.

Abibigromma derives its name from two African words: Abibiman (Africa) and Agromma (players). The name also contains the concept of Abibigro, which loosely translated, means “African Theatre”.

Notable names that graced the event included popular actor Fiifi Coleman ,Oh! Nii Sowah, Prof. Kofi Agyekum, Terry O Bright, Dr Ekua Ekumah and Many others.

2. Launch of Miss Natural Beauty Ghana 2023.

The beauty Pageant which is aimed at projecting the natural African Beauty was held at the international Press Centre at Osu, Accra. This year’s pageant will scout for young women between the ages of 18 and 35 who are self-assured and can make a statement with their appearance.The event is powered by Kente Business Journal.

3.Reggie Rockstone Unveiled as brand ambassador for Stone Depot.

The colorful event, which took place on Friday, April 1,2023, and was hosted by Natalia Andoh, brought together a host of individuals in the building and construction industry.

Clad in an all-white attire, the Hiplife Grandpa was in high spirits as he recounted the unlikely situation which led to him landing the ambassadorial deal with Stone Depot; a car crash involving his wife and a driver of Stone Depot.

Elias G. Hage, CEO of Stone Depot was optimistic that the partnership with Reggie Rockstone will help elevate the company to greater heights.

After the unveiling of the legendary Hiplife artiste, a raffle was held which saw winners take home a variety of awards including gift/shopping vouchers, flower vases and a marble table.

4.The ‘‘Big Push’ Mpuntuo’ fund program

The fundraising event was organized by Management of Joana Gyan-Cudjoe Foundation in collaboration with the Mpuntuo Hemaa of Wassa Agona Amenfi in the Western Region.

The program is aimed at raising 100million Ghana Cedis to construct schools and other projects in the Amenfi Central . The ‘Big Push’ Mpuntuo fund program held on Saturday April 1st ,2023 at the Kempinski hotel in Accra was attended by well endowed personalities .

The biggest surprised on the night was when Nana Owiredu Wadie I, Chairman of Kabaka Foundation dashed Lilian a brand new customized Mini Cooper with the registration number LAB 16 23.

In attendance were classmates, friends and family of Lilian Wadie. The guest celebrity at the party was Bhim Nation President, Stonebwoy 1 GAD who thrilled patrons with some of his monster hit songs.
