The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commissioned the historic Abetifi Stone Age Community Development Park.
Addressing a large gathering at the commissioning of the historic ,Abetifi Stone Age Community Development park in Kwahu ,the President who cited some neighboring African countries who have leveraged on ecotourism to create employment and raised significant revenue called on all Ghanaians to support the tourism agenda to change the economic fortunes of the country.
According to the President, the need to support ecotourism and the economic impact of ecotourism can not be overlooked or ignored.
The President made a passionate appeal to Nananom, all traditional leaders and Ghanaians to help protect the environment, forest, water bodies and also help in dealing with issues of illegal dumping of refuse.
