The biggest Ghanaian Gospel musical Concert Harvest Praise was held at the University of Professional studies ,Accra [UPSA] on Good Friday, April 7,2023.
Harvest Praise is an annual gospel music outreach program, initiated by Harvest International Ministries (HIM) in 1998 and held on every Good Friday.
Dubbed the ’Silver Jubilee Edition’ to celebrate the 25 years of the festival’s formation, this year’s festival saw American legendary singer, Don Moen ,Moses Bliss , The Harvest Praise Choir and others delight the audience with their powerful and alluring voices.
Each artist showed their worship and praise prowess when they took their turn on stage and had the audience on their feet throughout the time they were on stage.
However, While performing his monster hit song ,’God is Good’, legendary Grammy award-winner Don Moen took a break and interacted with the audience.
Revealing the strain he went through before finally being part of this year’s concert, the legendary American Singer named Ghana as the gateway to Africa.
According to him,”Ghana is the gateway to Africa and it was no mistake when I finally came…God is Good”.
The 72-year-old legendary Singer, clad in blue tuxedo over a white long sleeve shirt spent almost one hour on stage during which he performed some of his songs which has dominated the Christian music space for decades such as, ‘God will make a way’, ‘I am the God that healeth thee’, Be Magnified, God is good, among others.
