Nigerian Afrobeats and blues singer, Asake is going home as the Best African Artiste at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
His song, Organise which became a major jam across the African continent cruised past fellow Nigerians, Burnaboy, Ayra Star, and The Therapist from Sierra Leone, and Libianca from Cameroon.
Asake often sings in his native Yoruba language and has been enjoying comfortable airplay across Africa in recent times.
