The wait and mockery all ended with King Promise winning Best Afro pop-Afrobeat Artiste of the Year at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
King Promise was trolled a few years back for failing to win an award after receiving seven nominations.
But that will no longer be the story as he was announced as the winner of the Best Afro pop-Afrobeat Artiste of the Year at the 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on May 6.
The award was received on his behalf by Onua FM’s on-air personality, Nana Ama McBrown.
