Gospel singer and writer, Perez Musik has won the Songwriter of the Year at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards VGMA.
Perez Musik’s gospel praise song, Hewale Lala won him the award.
Others that received nominations in the category included Gospel Artiste of the Year Piesie Esther, Black Sherif, Diana Hamilton, Ewura Abena, and Fameye.
He dedicated the award to his late mother.
