Considered the king of Ghana’s rap, Sarkodie has emerged as the Best Hiplife/Hip Pop Artiste at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards VGMA.
He has won the category back-to-back as he was the winner of the award last year.
Sarkodie has had a good rolling in the past year as Countryside also picked Best Collaboration of the Year.
Sarkodie was up against Black Sherif, Medikal, Strongman, Amerado, and Kwesi Arthur.
