The 4th annual Ghana Day Festival will be held on June 30 and July 1 in Zurich, Switzerland.

The two-day event will feature a star-studded lineup of Ghanaian artists, including Oheneba Kissi, Adane Best, KK Fosu, Kwasi Pee, Dada KD, Okyeame Kwame, Dada Hafco, Epixode, and Aka Blay.

The festival is being organized by the Association of Ghanaian Unions Switzerland (AGUS) and is designed to showcase Ghanaian culture and music.

Highlife music, a genre that is one of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritages, will be a major focus of the festival.

“This is the first ever Highlife music open-air concert to be staged in Switzerland,” said Philip Wangyimba, the PR, media and communications executive of AGUS. “We are excited to bring together a lineup of top Ghanaian artists to celebrate our culture and music.”

In addition to the music, the festival will also feature traditional Ghanaian food, dance, and drumming. There will also be a marketplace where attendees can purchase Ghanaian souvenirs and gifts.

The Ghana Day Festival is free to attend and is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
