On Sunday night, the BET Awards presented six awards during the telecast.
Latto accepted the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, while Coco Jones accepted the award for Best New Artist. Teyana Taylor’s mother, Nikki, accepted the award for Video Director of the Year on her behalf.
In the 15 non-televised awards, Beyoncé’s Renaissance and SZA’s SOS tied for Album of the Year. Chris Brown and Usher also tied for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.
