Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy publicly thanked her ex-husband, Isaac Twum-Ampofo (Ike), for his continued support of her annual Tehillah Experience event.
The “Ote Me Mu” hitmaker made the remarks at the launch of the 10th edition of Tehillah Experience, which will take place on Sunday, August 13 at the Oil Dome in Accra.
Mercy, who is now separated from Ike, said that he has been “a wonderful man” who has always been there for her, both personally and professionally. She said that he has offered “massive support” over the years, and that she is “forever grateful” for his help.
Ike, who was visibly moved by Mercy’s words, nodded in approval and took his seat.
Tehillah Experience is a large gathering of worshippers that has grown in popularity over the years.
This year’s event, which is themed “Fire and Fragrance,” will feature performances by Kofi Owusu Peprah, Efe Grace, Ceccy Twum, Uncle Ato, Pastor Joe Beecham, and Diana Hamilton.
Mercy encouraged patrons to book their tickets early, saying that this year’s event will be “grand and impactful.”
