Legendary Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has said that his son Yul Edochie deserves the backlash he is receiving over his polygamous marriage.
Yul Edochie’s decision to take a second wife has been met with widespread criticism from fans and other celebrities. His first wife, May Edochie, has also filed for divorce.
In response to his son’s issue, Pete Edochie said,” he who goes to the farm and gets ant-infested firewoods (amongst all the good firewoods in the farm) shouldn’t be surprised when Lizards start paying him a visit,” he said in part.
In a loose translation, “Yul brought in a foreign woman into the family, and by so doing, he invited all the lows, backwardness, pain, insults and so on into his life.”
It remains to be seen how Yul Edochie will respond to the criticism from his father.
