Titi was awarded the Golden Mic for her outstanding performance in the Reggae and Dancehall category on the week 8 live performances of the VoiceFactory S5 on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
Titi’s stunning rendition of Lauryn Hill and Bob Marley’s “Turn Your Lights Down Low” left the audience speechless with her powerful vocals and emotional delivery.
The judges, Fred Kyei-Mensah, Edinam Bright-Davies, and Abiana, were overly impressed. The other contestants who performed in the Reggae and Dancehall category:
Kleos – (Mysterious girl – Peter Andre ), AG Wilson – (Obra – Samini), Seyiram – (Man Down – Rihanna) ,JerryEl – (Prisoner – Lucky Dube), Manuel – (Footprints – T.o.k), RigWello – (Run Go – Stonebwoy,) Bella – (Remember Me – Lucky Dube), Ciello Bee – (Kingston Town – UB40), Ernest – (She’s Royal – Tarrus Riley) and Princess – (Shy Guy – Diana King) also did tremendously well but Titi was the clear standout among the contestants.
Her powerful vocals, emotional delivery, and stage presence made her a force to be reckoned with.
She is a talented singer with a bright future ahead of her, and she is definitely one to watch out for. She has the talent, the drive, and the stage presence to win it all.
