One of Ghana’s most celebrated gospel musicians Cindy Thompson silenced her critics with a stellar performance at the ‘Glorified’ concert on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
The concert, which was organised by gospel music great Perez Musik, featured star-studded musicians such as Pastor Joe Beechem, Perez Musik and many more.
But it was Thompson’s performance that stole the show.
The veteran singer, who had come under tumultuous criticism for not releasing an album or single in many years, took the stage and delivered a puissant and moving performance of her classic hits, such as “Awanwa Do” and ‘Awurade Kasa”
Her voice was as strong and clear as ever, and her passion for the music was evident.
The patrons were enraptured by her performance, and she received a standing ovation at the end.
The ‘Glorified’ concert was a huge success, and the legendary gospel singer’s performance was a major highlight. It is clear that she is still one of Ghana’s top gospel musicians, and her performance on the night simply justified the assertion.
