Popular Kumawood actor and musician Lilwin has said that he will communicate with his constituents in his native language, Twi if he is elected as Member of Parliament (MP) for Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region.

Lilwin, whose real name is Kwadwo Nkansah, said that he does not see his inability to speak fluent English as a barrier to his ability to represent his constituents.

He argued that common sense is more important than English and that he would get his Twi speeches translated if necessary.

“I am ever ready to assist the youth of my constituency with job creation,” Lilwin said in an interview with Nkonkonsa.

“Nobody is lazy, but because there are no jobs, that is why the youth have become lazy.”He added

Lilwin also said that he has the support of many influential people in the constituency, including independent MPs, rich people, and business people.

His campaign manager is Kwame Nkrumah Tikesee of Okay FM.
