Jamaican Reggae legend Buju Banton has shared a heartwarming story about his friendship with Afro-Dancehall/Reggae star Stonebwoy.
In an interview on 3Music, Buju recalled how Stonebwoy used to clean and tune his guitar two decades ago when Stonebwoy was just a teenager.
“When I was in my early 20s, when I just started playing guitar, I couldn’t tune my own guitar, so this kid comes to the house and cleaned all my guitars and stuff,” Buju said.
Years later, the two musicians collaborated on the “Survivor Riddim” project by Buju, with a song titled “CrossRoads” featuring other Jamaican artists such as Chronic Law and Richie Spice.
