Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has strongly criticized popular media personality Kwasi Aboagye for disputing his claim that he was paid 80,000 euros for his performance at the Ghana Music Awards UK.
During a recent radio show, Kwesi Aboagye openly expressed scepticism regarding Shatta Wale’s reported performance fee, suggesting that the 80,000 euros figure was an exaggeration.
Shatta Wale, while maintaining that he indeed received the stated amount, took to TikTok to issue threats against the broadcaster.
At one point, he directed his frustrations towards Kwasi Aboagye’s employers, Fada Dickson and Osei Kwame Despite, saying, “Kwasi Aboagye, if you’re not dismissed from Peace FM… you, Despite, and Fada Dickson are all acting foolish.
I never misappropriated anyone’s funds. Nobody was aware when I was struggling at Circle. Just because you have a company, even those within the organization, can’t anyone point out that your actions are unreasonable? You folks are in Ghana thinking you’re billionaires,” he angrily expressed.
