Multiple award-winning Reggae star Blakk Rasta’s highly anticipated album, “Salaga Soulja,” was unveiled in grand style at a listening session held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the La Palm Royale Beach Hotel in Accra.
The event drew a crowd of prominent figures from the Ghanaian media and the entertainment scene, including Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Kafui Dey, Mr Logic, Edem Mensah Tsetome, Black Santino, and Mo Spence.
The 20-track album which features legendary musicians like King Ayisoba and Tiken Jah Fakoly was presented by Blakk Rasta himself, who enchanted the audience with live renditions of his new songs
The tracks include ‘Sodom & Gomorrah’, Bua, Kafan Kere, Haile Haile Haile, Kokroko, Cameroon, Thief President, and My Dear Ghana.
The energy shifted during the Q&A session, where renowned media personalities Arnold Asamoah- Baidoo and Kafui Dey, alongside Mr Logic, showered the album with praise.
Each guest expressed admiration for Salaga Soulja. They highlighted their favorite tracks and commended the award-winning Reggae star for his exceptional work.
Known in real life as Abubakar Ahmed, Black Rasta shot to fame in the Ghanaian music scene after releasing his monster hit song ‘Barack Obama’ in 2010.
