Unconfirmed information reaching GhanaWeekend indicates that the Police have arrested controversial Ghanaian blogger Bongo Ideas.
It would be recalled that three days ago, the first lady of Ghana Rebecca Akufo-Addo celebrated her birthday and immediately Akufo-Addo celebrated her in a social media post, Bongo Ideas went under the comment section and insulted the first lady’s barrenness.
Nana Akufo-Addo wrote: “Happy birthday, my beautiful Rebecca Akufo-Addo.”
Bongo Ideas took to his Twitter to reply he wrote: “73 years buh she has no child for you. Trophy wife.
However, GhanaWeekend’s source has it that his arrest is in connection with the derogatory comments he made against the President’s marital life.
According to the source, he was arrested on Wednesday dawn. Bongo ideas has so far not been on social media since the news of his arrest was speculated.
