Gospel great SP Kofi Sarpong has revealed how some Churches paid him with malt and Pie after performing for them
Speaking on DL FM, SP Kofi Sarpong who was sharing his thoughts about his dual careers as a professional police officer and singer was asked about the financial aspects of both professions.
According to him being a police officer and a musician may both be financially rewarding, but he also related a story from the beginning of his musical career.
He disclosed that certain churches would extend invitations to him for performances, but their payment consisted solely of malt and pie, leaving his expenses unpaid.
He expressed his discontent to these churches about their use of him and their encouragement of such behaviour.
