The Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Mr. Andrew Egyapa Mercer, met with Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah popularly known as Afronitaaa of Britain’s Got Talent fame on Friday, May 10.
Afronitaaa and her prodigy, Abigail made Ghana proud with their thrilling performance at Britain’s Got Talent audition. Their energetic performance caused the Judges and the audience to give them a standing ovation.
To express how the government feels about their magnificent performance, the Creative Arts Minister-designate invited Afronitaaa to his office.
Not only did they familiarize themselves and exchange pleasantries, but Mr Mercer also shared some words of encouragement and support.
The parents of the Dance star and high-profile personalities, including the Deputy Minister of Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey, Amy Frimpong – Executive Director, National Theatre of Ghana and Stephany Yamoah – Director, National Dance Company (National Theatre of Ghana) were present at the meeting.
Afronitaaa was greeted with drumming and dancing by a cultural troupe from the National Theatre upon arriving at the Minister’s office.
