Ghanaian musician, Stonebwoy born Livingstone Etse Satekla has advised his colleagues that they should not let the quest to win awards bring division.
“We shouldn’t allow awards to bring confusion or to separate us for us to take our minds off the good works that we ought to do to push Ghana music ahead,” he told Amansan Krakye
Talking about his Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) nominations, the ‘Ekelebe’ hitmaker said recognised artists deserve applause for their hard work.
He remarked on Property FM in Cape Coast “On the night of the TGMA whichever awards we win will be used to bring honour to Ghana and motivate others that you could also do it.
“And this will propel us to higher heights because we’ve all worked very hard and the charterhouse sat down to decide that this is what we deserve to be rewarded for.
“Once again I want to use this opportunity to respect and big up all my fellow Ghanaian artistes whose hard work has been recognized to move forward with our brand of music”.
