Fast-rising Ghanaian singer, Aba with the sauce has won the award for female discovery of the year at Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
At the show held on July 6 2024 at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, the “Medicine” singer beat her category mates: Kuneli, Renner, Abitemi, Titi Owusu, and Essilfie.
Aba who recently went viral on social media for her rendition of Ghanaian Highlife songs during Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations has been touted by many industry experts in the United Kingdom where she spent most of her formidable years learning and polishing her talent as one to watch out for.
She is set to release the video for her debut single Medicine in the coming days
The GEA USA acknowledges the contributions of Ghanaian, African and international entertainers and artistes.
Among the several winners on the night were Rapper Black Sherrif, Kidi, and Lasmid.
