Controversial gospel musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has disclosed that she would’ve loved to become the running mate of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to Diana Asamoah, her ambition was driven by her passion to introduce a policy tackling “one-man churches,” where leaders profit from selling items to members.
The Gospel songstress proposed a policy aimed to end this practice, promoting transparency and accountability within these religious institutions.
She shared her admiration for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its initiatives, particularly the free Senior High School policy introduced by President Akufo-Addo, which motivated her to support and compose songs for the party since 2016.
Diana Asamoah also praised Bawumia’s vision for digitalization, recognizing its significance in aligning Ghana with global technological advancements.
