Following the success of his well-attended plays “Dilemma of a Ghost,” “The SLAVES,” and “Sons and Daughters,” famous Ghanaian actor Fiifi Coleman returns to the stage with his new production, “PRISON GRADUATES.”

Prison Graduates is a satire about four prisoners who were granted presidential amnesty but are torn between accepting the pardon or staying in jail as they juxtapose current economic crises with the conditions in jail.

The play which is written by the Late Efo Kojo Mawugbe and directed by Fiifi Coleman, will feature a plethora of seasoned actresses like Naa Ashorkor, Mavis Abrokwah, Jacqueline Ama Ansah and Queen Grace Adjetey.

The play will open on the 26th of July at 8 pm and the 27th of July at 4 pm and 8 pm at the National Theatre.

In an interview on Channel One TV‘s entertainment show “The Chat” – hosted by Ekow Koomson, Fiifi Coleman described what attendees can expect at the event by indicating that they will be “immersed in a prison-like experience” in the auditorium.

According to the celebrated actor, Prisons officers are going to be the ushers and immediately one enters the National Theatre auditorium, “ they would be imprisoned for 2 hours…They’re going to be jailed … When they enter that auditorium the doors will be locked until the end of the episode”.
