Legendary Hiplife/Highlife artiste K.K. Fosu has addressed the backlash surrounding his absence at the funeral of blogger Jean Claude Tamakloe.

KK Fosu and Bless, known for his hit song “Chocho Mucho had a fatal accident on the Accra-Apam highway on May 25, 2024. The accident occurred while the artistes were en route to a scheduled performance.

Tragically, the accident also claimed the life of Claude Tamakloe who was in the vehicle with the musicians.

KK Fosu and Bless have come under severe criticism for failing to show up at the funeral of Tamakloe which was held on Friday.

In an interview on Hitz FM, K.K. Fosu who was explaining his reasons for not attending the funeral revealed candidly that he had no personal connection to the deceased.

According to the ‘Suudwe’ crooner, “I don’t even know Jean Claude, I got to know him on the very day the accident happened…He was not a member of my team”.

He expressed frustration over the assumptions made about his relationship with the late blogger and the expectations placed on him to be present at the funeral.
