After years of hiatus, organizers of the award scheme believe they now have a new direction and will reintroduce it to award deserving artistes in the year under review.
Speaking at a Press Soiree, the Chief Executive Officer for 3Media Network, Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai – said:
“Today I am thrilled to announce the return of 3Music Awards to be held in September. I repeat 3Music Awards is in September. After a year-long hiatus, we have reimagined our approach to ensure the 3Music Awards celebrate musical excellence and set new industry standards.
The 3Music Awards is more than an event, it is a celebration of creativity, talent and vibrant culture. This year, we are introducing fresh elements to captivate the audience and honour the artistes who inspire us.”
She added, “Our renewed commitment is to showcase the best in music and amplify the voices of the artistes. Creating an inclusive and unforgettable experience.”
She used the opportunity to thank the board, sponsors and all who have worked to ensure that the awards scheme returns bigger and better.
Before the main event in September, there will be a nominees event in August. The Board and the Academy will be going through the process towards the nomination for this year’s edition.
