Interior Minister Henry Quartey has declared ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ฒ.
The Minister informed the general public that Sunday, 4th August 2024 marks Foundersโ Day which is a Statutory Public Holiday.
However, because 4th August 2024 falls on a Sunday, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, has by Executive Instrument (E.I), following Section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act, (Act 601) declared Monday, 5th August 2024 as an additional Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
