Accra is gearing up for a monumental gospel music event as Grammy-winning group Maverick City Music and internationally acclaimed contemporary Gospel artiste Kirk Franklin bring their Kingdom Live World Tour to the city.
The highly anticipated concert is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, at the International Central Gospel Church [ICGC] Christ Temple East.
This is part of their Kingdom Live World tour. At a press soiree held at the ICGC premises on Wednesday, August 14, one of the Ghanaian artistes to perform on the night Luigi Maclean in an interview with Channel One TV indicated that he is expecting patrons to come with a graceful heart because they will witness the presence of God like never before.
“A graceful heart…Worshipping…There is always something new [Performance] …so as they expect they should come with a graceful heart because they are going to experience the presence of God like never before”. he said
Other Ghanaian artistes to thrill patrons include Joe Mettle and Team Eternity
This will be the second time Kirk Franklin will be performing in Ghana and the first for Maverick City Music
The 19-time Grammy-winning urban gospel singer is scheduled to arrive at Kotoka International Airport on Sunday, August 18 for his performance at the Teshie branch of the ICGC on the same day.
