Actor Prince David Osei has urged Ghanaians not to vote for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, in the 2024 polls.
He argued that the NDC’s track record and Mahama’s previous tenure as president were marked by economic mismanagement and corruption, which he believes would only worsen if they were given another chance to govern.
Speaking at the NPP manifesto launch in Takoradi in the Western Region on Sunday, Prince Osei said that voting for the NDC and John Mahama will spell doom for the country.
The celebrated actor argued that a vote for the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will sustain Ghana’s growth for a better future.
“The alternative is not the solution; it will send us into an abyss of disaster. Vote for progress. Vote Bawumia, vote Matthew Opoku Prempeh,” he stated.
