Actor Kofi Adu, well known as Agya Koo has urged Ghanaians to vote for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
He implored the youth to support Dr Bawumia to ensure a better future rather than allowing other political parties to influence them.
“Wherever I go, both the young and old say they have not forgotten him. Considering how President Akufo-Addo and his government have provided for the nation, especially with developmental projects, we should be grateful. I urge the youth not to be deceived by sweet talk. For the future of Ghana and our children, I plead with you to vote for the NPP,” Agya Koo stated during an NPP campaign rally in Takoradi on Saturday, August 17.
In the 2024 general elections, scheduled for December 7, Dr Bawumia will face competition from John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), along with other candidates from various political parties.
