Stand-up comedian, DKB has schooled Pastor Mensah Otabil over his comment that men should not wait to get rich before settling down.
The founder and general overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) went viral after he advised men not to wait to accumulate wealth before settling down in marriage.
Pastor Mensah Otabil used his marriage to his wife as a case study, saying that he married his wife when he had nothing, but they built their wealth from scratch.
However, DKB who is a member of the ICGC has disagreed with his spiritual leader saying that during his time, things were different as compared to this era. He further mentioned that one of the factors causing most marriages to fail in this era is because of money issues.
He continued, “Daddy, if you go to divorce court, ninety per cent of the cases are money issues. Daddy, we are waiting to get money before we get married. Daddy, your time was better. This time, if you don’t take care, you go marry the devil.”
