Wanderlust Ghana is set to embark on an enchanting 30,000-kilometer journey, spanning three months and covering 30 countries from Monday, September 30, 2024.
This was disclosed at a vibrant send-off celebration held at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park organised by Ghana Tourism Authority, on Sunday, September 8.
In 2023, the team did 10,000 kilometres from Accra through many African countries to London in the United Kingdom through other European countries.
Speaking at the launch, the CEO of Wanderlust Ghana, Kwabena Peprah, said”
“For us, this time around, it’s about making Ghana a tourist destination for most foreigners,” Peprah emphasised, speaking of the group’s ambition to showcase the country’s potential on the world stage…We’re embracing the challenge and revelling in the journey.”
The Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism, are collaborating with Wanderlust on this ambitious project.
The team’s journey will take them across diverse terrains, from the deserts of Mauritania to the skyscrapers of Dubai, and eventually down to the southern tip of Africa in Cape Town.
Their route will include stops in countries such as Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Spain, France, Turkey, Kenya, and many more.
