In a recent interview on The Baller Alert, Omah Lay expressed his admiration for Davido, citing him as the Nigerian superstar he’s eager to collaborate with.
The Port Harcourt-born singer revealed that their highly anticipated collaboration is set to drop soon, describing the song as “perfect” and matching their vibe.
“Actually we have a song and it’s coming out soon. I am very excited about the record because it’s something I never imagined would be this great and cool,” Omah Lay said.
On Afrobeats’ rise in the US, Omah Lay acknowledged Davido’s significant contribution, stating, “Davido is a legend. He is big big.”
This collaboration comes months after Omah Lay sparked speculation about a potential rift with Davido, which has been squashed.
