On September 23, 2024, the Silverbird Cinema at the Accra Mall witnessed a historic event – the premiere of the first-ever animated adaptation of the iconic Bible story, David vs. Goliath.
Created by The Good Shepherd Media, this innovative animation aims to inspire Black children by presenting characters and settings that reverberate with their experiences.
The production features a contemporary interpretation of the classic tale, making it relatable and engaging for young audiences.
The family-friendly event included uplifting gospel music, powerful poetry, and a special surprise.
To complement the animation, The Good Shepherd Media also released a companion book, offering a written version of the David vs. Goliath story.
