A 64-year-old Ghanaian doctor, based in Canada, has been arrested and charged with sexual assault for a second time.
Dr. Clarence Clottey, who practices at Bristol Family Physicians in Oakville, Ontario, is accused of assaulting a female patient during a recent visit to his clinic.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) began investigating the incident after receiving a complaint from the victim. Clottey was taken into custody on Tuesday and released pending a court appearance.
This is not the first time Clottey has faced allegations of sexual misconduct. In 2016, he was acquitted of charges of sexually assaulting six female patients.
However, he was arrested again in 2019 for allegedly assaulting another patient in 2014.
Following these incidents, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) placed restrictions on Clottey’s medical practice.
Despite the previous allegations and the ongoing investigation, he continued to see patients at his clinic. Authorities are now urging any other potential victims to come forward.
