Ghanaian musician Darkovibes has disclosed that he has been arrested multiple times by the police due to his admission of using marijuana.
During an interview with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360, Darkovibes mentioned that he is often picked up by authorities and subjected to searches with suspicion of possessing weed.
Despite these encounters, Darkovibes maintains a positive relationship with many police officers.
“They [police] worry me but Police is your best friend. I have a very good relationship with a lot of police guys. They have arrested me countless times because sometimes I get carried away.
“Sometimes not just after a show, from studio session they can search me for four hours,” Darkovibes said.
In a message to his fans, Darkovibes advised them to act responsibly, especially when it comes to smoking and other habits.
He also encouraged everyone to be mindful of their impact on society.
“Anything we do, we advise every young person, every adult, every child to do it responsibly. Because in the end, you have a role to fulfill in society, in your community. We all have our vices that are not the best. I know for a fact that I’m not perfect. But we all do things responsibly,” he said.
