Germany-based Ghanaian Highlife star Kofi Eiphos has urged the Ghanaian media to pay more attention to artists residing abroad.

Known for his powerful live performances and international recognition, Eiphos expressed disappointment in the lack of media coverage for abroad-based Ghanaian artistes.

He has thrilled audiences with his puissant live performances worldwide alongside his colleagues, delivered a sold-out show a few months ago in Germany.

Backed by a dynamic live band featuring both Ghanaian and German musicians, the concert showcased KofiEiphos’ infectious energy and genuine connection with the crowd. Their combined talent created a truly unforgettable musical experience.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeekend, Kofi Eiphos expressed disappointment in the lack of media coverage for abroad-based Ghanaian artistes.

According to him,” Look at me…despite doing so well with my music here in Germany, I’ve noticed that the Ghanaian media often overlooks abroad-based artistes…how many media houses are talking about it? they’re only waiting to hear bad news about then they can talk about it”.

KofiEiphos who is known for the hit songs,” Abenaa’, and ‘DJ 50 50’ believes that by focusing on the achievements and contributions of abroad-based artistes, the Ghanaian music industry can benefit from increased exposure and global recognition.
