Celebrated Ghanaian actress and movie producer Kafui Danku has shed light on a fascinating trend among Ghanaian men – a heightened interest in DNA paternity tests.
DNA, the molecule that carries genetic information, is playing an increasingly significant role in establishing paternity with certainty.

Kafui Danku who is known for her work in movies like “Any Other Monday,” “Alvina: Thunder and Lightning,”, “I Do,” and the author of Silence Is Not Golden book is out with her movie “Fear Women”.

The movie features a star-studded cast including Kobi Rana, Clinton, Salma Mumin, James Gardner, and Bella Agyemang. On November 1, 2024, she will release her upcoming movie titled ‘Look’.
Speaking about the two movies on Channel One TV’s entertainment talk show ‘The Chat’, Kafui Danku observed that unlike in the past, when families lived harmoniously without DNA tests, men today are increasingly seeking DNA confirmation.

“Men of these days are interested in DNA tests…unlike those days when there were no DNA…. families were living happily ..life was good”. Kafui Danku told the hostess Chris Kata who sat in for regular host Ekow Koomson.

The well-respected actress and filmmaker acknowledged that betrayal is not exclusive to marriages and can occur in friendships as well.
