Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has alleged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will use arsons to cause fire outbreaks in the Ashanti Region.
He alleges that the opposition political party has plans to reduce the number of votes that the NPP will get in the Ashanti Region hence the plan to create fires to bring about apathy.
Nicholas Omane Acheampong urged the president to deploy not only police officers but also the military to forestall such evil plans of the opposition NDC.
“NDC plans to destroy markets with fire outbreaks. This is their plan to reduce the number of votes. They are aware that if the people’s wares are touched, they will not show up and vote, and that will ensure that the NPP loses. I will urge Nana Akufo-Addo not to come to the election with only the police. The soldiers must also be deployed to ensure peace and tranquillity,” he said on Wontumi radio in an interview.
