Multiple award-winning Highlife musician Ronald Kwake Dei Appiah better known as Bisa Kdei has shared his reaction when he received confirmation that his song was featured as a soundtrack in Netflix’s 2020 Christmas movie Jingle Jangle.
The track, titled ‘Asew Jingle Jangle’, is a remix of his original 2018 hit ‘Asew’. While the original focuses on a young man speaking to his in-laws, the remix shifts perspective to a grandchild addressing her grandfather.
In an interview with Channel One TV, Bisa Kdei shared that receiving the email about the deal felt surreal. “At first, I thought it was a hoax… I couldn’t believe it until we had a Zoom meeting, and then I realized it was genuinely happening.” He said
Meanwhile, Bisa Kdei is one of the seasoned musicians who will be performing at this year’s Citiuation All-White Party.
Known for its elegance and star-studded guest list, the Citiuation All White Party will take place on December 24, 2024, at the prestigious Underbridge in East Legon in Accra.
Organised by Citi FM and Channel One TV, the event has become one of the most talked-about parties of the year, attracting top personalities from the entertainment industry, business, politics, and beyond.
