Charterhouse, the organisers of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), has officially announced the opening of nominations for the 26th edition of the highly anticipated awards scheme.
This year’s event promises to celebrate excellence in the Ghanaian music industry by recognising the remarkable talent and outstanding contributions of artists, producers, instrumentalists, and other industry stakeholders.

The nomination process, which is now live, invites submissions for all commercially released works produced in the calendar year 2024.

Eligible entries must have been released between January 1 and December 31, 2024.

Artists, artist management teams, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, music composers, and other industry players are encouraged to participate in this year’s event by submitting their entries via the official online portal at www.entry.ghanamusic.com.

The submission window will remain open until Sunday, February 16, 2025.

In a statement, Charterhouse emphasised the importance of adhering to the timeline and guidelines to ensure that all deserving works are duly considered.

As part of efforts to keep the awards scheme relevant and reflective of the dynamic nature of the music industry, Charterhouse announced revisions to the categories for this year’s awards.

The changes include updates to category definitions and the addition of new categories, aimed at broadening the scope and ensuring more inclusivity.

Stakeholders are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these revisions by visiting the official TGMA website, www.ghanamusicawards.com, and following the event’s social media platforms—Ghana Music Awards on Facebook and @ghanamusic on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

The organisers stressed the importance of reviewing these changes to ensure submissions align with the updated criteria.

To assist participants and address any concerns, Charterhouse has also provided a dedicated email for inquiries and clarifications. Stakeholders with questions about the nomination process or category revisions can reach out via [email protected] for support.
