Veteran actor Mawuli Semervo has been involved in a severe fire accident.
According to Judith Kintu Adesin of Beyond Burns International, the actor’s life is hanging in the balance after his house caught fire on Saturday, February 8.
Semervo, who was sleeping at the time of the incident, suffered burns up to 44 percent of his body and sustained respiratory injuries.
He is currently in a critical condition and undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Doctors are attending to the actor, and they will intubate him to assist with his breathing.
The extent of his injuries is severe, with burns covering his entire body, including his head and legs.
Semervo has lost all his hair, and his face is badly injured.
The situation is dire. The public is urged to support Semervo’s medical treatment during this difficult time.
