In a solemn statement released on February 10, 2025, Apostle Solomon Oduro announced the dissolution of his marriage to Rev. Charlotte Oduro.
The announcement follows three years of separation and marks the culmination of a process involving prayer, discussion, and careful reflection.
Apostle Oduro explained that despite efforts to reconcile, irreconcilable differences ultimately necessitated the decision to dissolve their marriage.
“As a man of God, a public figure, and a role model to many, Apostle Solomon Oduro considers it his duty to officially communicate this development to the public to prevent misinformation, speculation, or undue controversy. He humbly requests that this sensitive transition be met with understanding,” the statement read in part.
The couple had already finalised the traditional dissolution of their union last year, but Apostle Oduro felt it was necessary to formally communicate this development to prevent any potential misinformation or undue controversy.
In his statement, Apostle Oduro called upon his loved ones, supporters, and the Body of Christ to uphold both himself and Rev. Charlotte Oduro in their prayers during this period of transition.
He affirmed his unwavering commitment to his divine calling—the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ—and requested grace and support as they navigate this challenging time.
“At this juncture, Apostle Solomon Oduro earnestly calls upon his loved ones, well-wishers, and the Body of Christ to uphold both himself and Rev. Charlotte Oduro in prayers. He remains steadfast in his commitment to his divine calling-the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ-and seeks the grace and support of all as he and his former wife navigate this transition.”
