Ghanaian fashion icon and internet sensation, Richard Brown, popularly known as Osibo the Zaraman, has finally addressed swirling rumours about his prolonged absence from social media.
In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeekend, Osibo dismissed speculations that he was arrested in Italy or dealing with a serious illness.
According to him, he owes no one an explanation for stepping away but finds some of the rumours absurd.
“I heard all sorts of things—some said I was arrested, others claimed I was battling a terminal illness with a supposed death date attached. It was ridiculous,” he remarked. “What matters is, I’m back,” he added.
Osibo also dismissed allegations that he was involved in drug-related activities, emphasising that he is financially stable and has no reason to engage in illegal dealings. “I own three houses and several cars, and I take care of my family and others. Why would I push drugs?” he questioned.
