Adjetey Annan urges citizens to uphold Cultural values and authenticity

Renowned Ghanaian actor Adjetey Annan has urged Ghanaians to safeguard their cultural values and authenticity in the face of globalization.

Speaking at the Brand Conference Ghana 2025, held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on March 1, 2025, Annan emphasized the importance of preserving Ghana’s cultural heritage for future generations.

Sharing the stage with Papa Arkhurst and Reverend Ogbarmey Tetteh, he underscored the role of Ghanaian culture in shaping the nation’s identity and stressed the need to integrate it into storytelling, particularly in film.

Annan also expressed concern that the younger generation, particularly Gen Alpha, is losing touch with Ghanaian proverbs and cultural nuances.
