Social media influencer, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, has slammed Nigerians who constantly compare actress Funke Akindele to American Actress Taraji P. Henson.
In a tweet on Monday, he expressed his dislike for the constant comparison.
He noted that there is no need to always compare Nigerian Icons to Western figures.
He maintained that Funke Akindele, an unstoppable box office record breaker is not a version of anyone but herself.
He wrote, “I really don’t like seeing comments calling Aunty Funke the “Nigerian version of Taraji P. Henson.” As much as I love Taraji and admire her work, I don’t understand the constant need to compare our icons to Western figures.
